Join KRCA

The KRCA has several types of members and we encouraged all contractors to become "Certified".

Contractors also may join as regular members. These members have minimum insurance requirements and are not bonded. They still have access to all KRCA services, meetings, etc.

The KRCA also has Associate and Affiliate members. Fees for these categories vary depending on the type of business.

Contractor Certification Requirements

In 2001, KRCA began its Certified Contractor Program, which was designed for Contractors who want to set themselves Apart from typical roofing companies by Setting and living up to higher standards. To become certified, KRCA members must:

• Provide evidence they carry a minimum of $1 million in Liability insurance.
• Post a $10,000 bond, assuring that the job promised is The job that will be received.
• Attend at least 10 hours of approved continuing education Annually; certified contractors are required to stay Up to date with various areas of the industry.
• Sign and agree to abide by a strict code of ethics; otherwise, members will lose their certifications

Certified Contractor

Membership fees based on annual sales:

• Less than a million ($375.00)
• 1-3 million ($475.00)
• Over 3 million ($575.00)

Note: New Certified Contractor members receive a discount of $100.00 for first year.  Must show copy of insurance.
